Moscow Treaty of 2002
Nuclear Posture Review

We present a collection of statements on nuclear weapons by a variety of religious bodies and religious leaders. Most were issued since the end of the Cold War.
  • Without exception they oppose the use of nuclear weapons.
  • Most advocate abolition or total elimination.
  • A few offer interim acceptance of nuclear deterrence as a step on the way to progressive disarmament.
  • But most oppose nuclear deterrence here and now.
